Description

Puch is remembered in the US for importing the SGS 250, the first and last split-single seen there. Marketed by Sears in their catalog as the "Twingle", it was styled much like a BMW of the 1950s and 60s. The layout had been popular in Europe between the wars because it improved scavenging, and hence fuel consumption, a feature considered less important in the US. This example, built and restored by Kent Riches of Airtech Streamlining, this "Twingle" has all the styling cues of a period correct road racer or TT racer. Completely restored to a high level of finishes, this Puch looks the part. Recently removed from The Throttlestop Museum where it spent the last number of years. If you have an eye for unique racing bikes or just like something out of the ordinary, this Puch is perfect for you.
